Month of Mom Colouring Giveaway!
What It Is:
COLOUR, CARE, AND WIN! We’re making May a celebration of moms with WEEKLY $500 GIFT CARD GIVEAWAYS and a chance to pay it forward!
In honour of Starlight Children’s Foundation Canada celebrating Mother’s Day with Toys“R”Us Canada, colouring pages will be available at every Toys“R”Us Canada store from May 1 until June 5, 2025. Each week, one parent will be randomly selected to win a $500 Toys“R”Us Canada gift card after posting a completed colouring page on social media, while tagging @StarlightCanada and @ToysRUsCanada with the hashtag #ImaginationIncluded!
Give and get! A win for one parent is also a win for a seriously ill child. For every winner pulled, we will pay it forward by gifting a Starlight child in their community with a $500 Toys“R”Us Canada gift card of their own!
How To Enter:
1) Visit your local Toys“R”Us Canada store and pick up a Mother’s Day colouring page at the checkout counter.
2) Share a photo of a completed colouring page on your preferred social media channel of either Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #ImaginationIncluded.
3) Make sure to tag @StarlightCanada and @ToysRUsCanada in the post!
Note: Please ensure that your post setting is “Public” as this will be the only way Starlight Canada will be able to interact with your entry.
The Prize: A gift card valued at $500 to Toys“R”Us Canada. 5 gift cards of this value will go to 5 different winners across Facebook or Instagram. 1 winner will be selected each week from eligible entries received on either Facebook or Instagram from May 1 until June 5, 2025.
Pay It Forward: A gift card valued at $500 to Toys“R”Us Canada will also be gifted to a registered Starlight child following each weekly draw. 5 gift cards of this value will go to 5 Starlight children. 1 Starlight child will be selected each week from May 1 to June 5, 2025.
Rules and Regulations:
The Mother’s Day Colouring Gift Card Giveaway is hosted by Starlight Children’s Foundation® Canada. These giveaways are in no way sponsored, endorsed by or administered by Facebook, Instagram, or Toys“R”Us Canada and Babies”R”Us Canada. Toys“R”Us Canada and Babies”R”Us Canada are in no way involved in the gifting or distribution of prizes. In the case of an issue, responsibility lies solely with Starlight Canada.
Those who enter the giveaway are only eligible to win if they live in Canada and are 18 years +. No purchase/donation necessary.
Terms of Use: Parent or legal guardian must approve submission of photo(s). By submitting a photo, parent or legal guardian grants Starlight Canada, and all affiliated partners, the right to use and publish submitted photo(s) as needed. Slight photo alterations may be made for use on social media or other promotional materials.
Draw Control:
Draws will be conducted every Thursday from May 8 to June 5, 2025. Entries open on May 1, 2025, and close at 11:59 PM (EST) on June 4, 2025. A total of five (5) weekly draws will be held during this period. The 5 winners will be randomly selected every Thursday, consisting of all submissions collected the week prior up until Wednesday at 11:59 PM (EST). The Thursday, May 8, 2025 draw will only pull from submissions collected from Thursday, May 1, 2025 through to Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at 11:59 PM (EDT). The Thursday, May 15, 2025 draw will only pull from submissions collected from Thursday, May 8, 2025 through to Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at 11:59 PM (EDT), and so on until the final draw is conducted on Thursday, June 5, 2025.
A limit of 1 entry can be submitted by an account per week (Ex. 2 different colouring pages posted on the same account still equals 1 entry). If posting on multiple social media platforms, an entry will be accepted for each post on a different channel for a maximum of 2 entries per individual (Ex. The same individual posting on Facebook and Instagram = 2 entries). Instagram Story submissions will be accepted. The same colouring page cannot be submitted more than one time on each platform, and in all subsequent weekly draws. Starlight Canada will be monitoring submissions.
If no entries are received in a particular week, a winner will be randomly drawn from the pool of all entries up to that given date who have not previously won.
Weekly winners will NOT be eligible for all subsequent prize draws.
Starlight Canada employees and their immediate family members (spouses, parents, children, siblings, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they live) or persons living in the same households of such employees, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter the draw.
Giveaway Winner Notification:
Weekly winners will be notified directly on that corresponding Thursday via social media messaging based on the platform their submission was posted on (Facebook message or Instagram Direct Message). The social media handles of our winners will be publicly posted on this webpage, and on Facebook and Instagram upon being selected.
Prizes will be distributed by email unless other arrangements are agreed upon between host and recipient.
Winners have 30 days from the day of the draw to claim their prize. Should they not collect their prize, it may be revoked.
