Hospital Partners

Starlight Children’s Foundation Canada is proud to support 137 hospitals across Canada. Through our online Hospital Wish List platform, individuals or donors can view the direct needs as requested by each hospital.

Below is a list of all our hospital partners in relation to the distribution of our programs, organized by province. Due to the higher volume of paediatric hospitals in the more heavily populated provinces/city centres in Canada, our in-hospital programs are more used/distributed in these regions.

HOSPITAL PARTNERS VS. NUMBER OF PEDIATRIC HOSPITALS PER PROVINCE:

In some cases as seen above, such as in Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario, Starlight Canada has more Hospital Partners than there are pediatric hospitals in the province. This is due to the fact that this chart only accounts for hospitals that have pediatric or NICU beds specifically. We support non-designated pediatric hospitals as well, which also see baby, child, and teen patients. Note that the Northwest Territories have no “classified” pediatric hospitals, which also affects the pediatric bed count below.
